Ampco System Parking Names David Collins Vice PresidentLOS ANGELES – March 23, 2005 – Ampco System Parking, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) has promoted David Collins, 50, to the newly created position of Vice President, Strategic Initiatives. “With this promotion, David will be part of the Ampco System Parking corporate infrastructure with a national focus on a broad range of responsibilities including the administration and implementation of new business processes geared towards improving the quality and efficiency of the services we provide our customers along with continuing to have executive level oversight for the Hawaii region, ” said Tom Barnett, president of Ampco System Parking.
Collins joined Ampco in 1995 as Regional Vice President with overall responsibility for the Northern California and Hawaii regions. David came to Ampco via the acquisition of the Parking Place where he served as President. A 1976 graduate of Vanderbilt University with a BA in Biology, David is the current President of the Downtown Association of San Francisco, immediate past president of the Parking Association of San Francisco and is actively involved in the Hotel Council of San Francisco and the San Francisco Building Owners and Managers Association where he serves on the Government Affairs Committee.
