Ampco System Parking Awarded Contract with City of Phoenix for Phoenix Civic Plaza

LOS ANGELES – July 15, 2005 – Ampco System Parking, a wholly owned subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), has been awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with the City of Phoenix for Phoenix Civic Plaza. The contract covers parking management service for more than 7,600 above ground- and subterranean-level parking spaces at the busy, state-of-the-art convention center, located in Copper Square, the cultural heart of downtown Phoenix.

Since 1972, the Plaza has welcomed more 35 million people. Today, the convention center is host to an average of 540 events annually, including conventions, shows and events throughout the year that offer an atmosphere that conveys the history of the Southwest and Arizona experience.
