LOS ANGELES – July 15, 2005 – Ampco System Parking, a wholly owned subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), has been awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with the City of Phoenix for Phoenix Civic Plaza. The contract covers parking management service for more than 7,600 above ground- and subterranean-level parking spaces at the busy, state-of-the-art convention center, located in Copper Square, the cultural heart of downtown Phoenix.

Phoenix Civic Plaza is located in dynamic Copper Square and is surrounded by a vibrant, multi-billion dollar revitalization effort that has resulted in upscale retail shopping, entertainment, restaurants, museums, theaters, visual arts and sports venues. Since 1972, the Plaza has welcomed more 35 million people. Today, the convention center is host to an average of 540 events annually, including conventions, shows and events throughout the year that offer an atmosphere that conveys the history of the Southwest and Arizona experience.
