ABM Security Services Wins U.S. Postal Service Supplier Performance Award

NEW YORK, May 20, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The U.S. Postal Service has awarded ABM Security Services a Supplier Performance Award for the Company's service in 2009. ABM Security was one of only 13 companies out of the USPS's more than 15,000 suppliers in 2009 to receive a supplier service award. ABM Security Services is a subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), the leading provider of facility services in the United States.

In a press release the USPS noted that it uses its annual supplier service awards to recognize companies providing "superior supply chain performance and delivering best-value solutions that reduce costs, enhance performance, maintain high levels of service and collaborate to grow the business." U.S. Post Master General John E. Potter presented the Award to ABM Security Services President Chris Hansen in Washington, DC, on April 26.

ABM Security provides the USPS with unarmed contract security personnel at Postal Service facilities nationwide. ABM has been providing security services to the Postal Service since 2004, and this is the second time the Company has received a USPS Supplier Performance Award.
