ABM Industries Mourns Loss of Ted Rosenberg

NEW YORK, Apr 05, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The following statement was issued today by ABM Industries President & CEO Henrik Slipsager and Maryellen Herringer, Chairman of the Board:

"The ABM family lost one of its most treasured members. As the son of our Company's founder, born the same year as our first in service (1909), Ted Rosenberg had a distinguished and enduring bond to the business and people of ABM Industries throughout his life. We were privileged last year to celebrate with Ted his 100th birthday, the centennial of the Company's founding, the ringing of the Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange and Ted's remarkable conclusion of nearly 50 years of service as a Director of the ABM Board. We are grateful to have shared those momentous, happy times with Ted last year, and for the special place he will always hold in the history and heart of the Company.

"We extend our deepest condolences to Ted's wife, Rose, and the entire Rosenberg family. We have lost a true ABM champion, colleague and friend."
