ABM Industries Initiates Joint Program with LIGHTING SCIENCE Group for Green, Energy Efficient Facilities

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., July 31, 2007 – ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) has announced a joint national program with Lighting Science Group Corporation, (OTCBB: LSGP) (LSG), a leading provider of energy efficient and environmentally responsible lighting technologies. The initiative provides for a “feasibility assessment” at Ampco System Parking operated facilities across the country and continued product installation by Amtech Lighting to allow for independent product testing at various third-party locations. Amtech Lighting and Ampco System Parking are wholly owned subsidiaries of ABM.

Ampco is one of the largest parking facility managers in North America with 1,800 facilities comprising approximately 500,000 lights. The company is committed to this program as part of its efforts to encourage energy efficiency in its leased and managed facilities. Ampco selected Lighting Science as the supplier partner for this effort in recognition of LSG’s leadership in the development of high-performance solid state lighting products for these and other applications.

“We are proud of our ongoing commitment to improving energy efficiency at our facilities and believe that Amtech’s installation of LSG's LED lighting solutions will make a major contribution to overall energy savings,” said Steven Zaccagnini, executive vice president of ABM Industries. “LED lights are proven to generate significant energy-related cost reductions, as well as reduced maintenance expenses resulting from their extended life-span. Unlike fluorescents, LEDs are mercury free and represent the types of environmentally friendly ‘green’ products ABM continues to source on behalf of our customers. Technological advancements like these will likely have a positive impact on our communities,” he added.

“Advances in LED technology, coupled with declining costs and our innovations in fixture design continue to make LED lighting more economically and environmentally attractive,” said Ron Lusk, chairman and chief executive officer of Lighting Science Group. “We are extremely pleased that ABM has selected LSG as its partner in this important effort and we welcome the opportunity to implement this program,” he added.

Lighting Science Group Corporation (www.lsgc.com) designs and sells highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly lighting solutions based on its proprietary Optimized Digital Lighting® (ODL®) technology. The Company's patented and patent-pending designs and manufacturing processes enable affordable, efficient and long lasting LED lighting systems to be quickly deployed in existing lighting applications and produce immediate cost savings and environmental benefits.
