ABM Industries Incorporated Names New President for AMPCO System Parking

SAN FRANCISCO – June 9, 2006 – ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) has named Rich Kindorf divisional president of wholly owned subsidiary Ampco System Parking. The appointment was effective upon the retirement of former President Tom Barnett, an ABM executive for 35 years. Kindorf succeeds Barnett after mentoring with the industry veteran for more than 23 years. In addition, Ampco System Parking promoted both Arnold Klauber and Mark Muglich to divisional executive vice presidents.

“Rich's industry experience, business acumen and leadership skills will undoubtedly benefit Ampco's overall operations for the future and we welcome him as Ampco's new president,” said Steven M. Zaccagnini, executive vice president of ABM. "With Arnold and Mark continuing in their expanded roles on our management team, Ampco will continue to enhance its industry reputation of meeting and exceeding the expectations of our diverse customer base," he added.

Klauber joined Ampco in 1987 and previously served as regional vice president. Muglich began his career with ABM more than 20 years ago and worked as senior regional vice president until his latest promotion.
