ABM Industries Incorporated Appoints Steven M. Zaccagnini Executive Vice President

SAN FRANCISCO – December 19, 2005 – ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) today announced it has appointed Steven M. Zaccagnini executive vice president. Zaccagnini will also continue his role as president of wholly owned subsidiaries, ABM Facility Services and Amtech Lighting.

"Steve’s outstanding leadership and contributions to the Engineering, Facility Services and Lighting operations, as well as his handling of CommAir Mechanical Services, which ABM sold earlier this year, have been a great asset to the company’s ongoing growth and business development," said Henrik C. Slipsager, president and CEO of ABM Industries. "His background and vast experience in property management and business procurement have helped ABM to strengthen its operations while further enhancing the existing high level of service for its customers," he added.

Zaccagnini joined ABM in 2002 as president of ABM Facility Services. Prior to joining ABM, he served as senior vice president of the Leasing & Management Group at Jones Lang LaSalle for 13 years, where he was responsible for office acquisitions, property management, corporate lease transactions and new business procurement.

A graduate of The University of Dayton, Zaccagnini earned his degree in industrial engineering.
