ABM Industries Acquires Janitorial Services Operations in BaltimoreSAN FRANCISCO – August 3, 2005 - ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) today announced it has acquired the commercial janitorial cleaning operations in Baltimore, Maryland of the Northeast United States Division of Initial Contract Services, Inc., a provider of janitorial services based in New York, for approximately $0.35 million in cash. The acquisition includes key accounts throughout the metropolitan area of Baltimore and represents over $7 million in annual contract revenue.  Additional consideration will be paid during the subsequent four years based on financial performance of the acquired business.
